Stagecoach no 63 goes to town twice and returns 3 times a day.
Stagecoach no 5 is a more frequent service along Badgers Farm Road
… and there are other services close by and around Winchester

Winter on the Battery

There are a total of 12 Grit bins in place around the Parish; They are in the following locations:

Badger Farm Road junction with Oliver’s Battery Road South; Sunnydown road at both ends; Old Kennels Close; Downlands Road      Compton Way 2; Treble Close; Braeside Close; Keats Close; Broadview Lane; Priors Way/Partridge Down

In addition the council have four snow shovels available to loan they are placed at

  • 64 Old Kennels Lane
  • 107 Oliver’s Battery Road South
  • 27 Compton Way
  • 144 Olivers Battery Road South

You are reminded that the Grit Bins are for use on the roads and MUST NOT be used for private Driveways.
